The factor by which the compensation of the highest compensated senior administrator (President) exceeds that of the lowest compensated full-time employee (BCGEU support staff grade 4) is 1:6.
The lowest pay grade for a regular/permanent employee is BCGEU support staff at grade 4: $23.95/hour, $43,743/year in 2020. Total compensation is $53,367.33 which includes benefits at 22%. Once the new BCGEU Support Staff Salary Scales document is published it will be posted at https://www.bcit.ca/human-resources/employee-resources/policies-collective-agreements/
