ScholarsArchive is BYU's institutional repository for the scholarly and creative content produced by the university. ScholarsArchive makes research, publications, data, and journals produced by BYU faculty and students, as well as streaming video and audio, available to a global research audience, with some 12.4 million downloads to date.

As mentioned previously, the BYU Library provides a publishing platform called ScholarsArchive for peer-reviewed open access journals, and a full-time staff member manages this platform. Scholars Archive is an active publishing platform for 33 journals and an archive for 33 inactive journals.
