A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
The Kennedy Center’s International Study Programs offers immersive experiences such as International Water Resources and Sustainability, Native American Health and Sustainability, Nepal Global Health: Environmental/Occupational & Maternal/Child, Europe: Global Perspectives on Energy and the Environment, Build and Ride a Bike in Europe, Malawi International Development, and French Polynesia Tropical Biodiversity. Previously offered programs have included Italy Business and Sustainability, European Gardens and Urban Agriculture, Dominican Republic Hydroengineering, and Renewable Energy in Denmark. Students from any college or university may apply. Programs run two to six weeks.
