A brief description of the native plant program, policy, or practice:
The university does strive to prioritze native plant species as part of the IPM program. There are many native caittails that are threatened by the invasive blue strife species. As such, facilities strive to eliminate the competition that the latter species presents. In the wetlands, they also strive to eliminate invasive species in order to protect the native species: dogwood, holly shrubs, and red maples.
