A brief description of the event(s):
Campus Sustainability Initiative has formed a wonderful partnership with the Center for German and European Studies to host larger symposium about Climate Change. In the Fall of 2010 we held Campus Climate Weeks- a month full of speakers, hands on volunteer projects, a demonstration Masai hut outfitted with a safer oven model, and more. http://www.brandeis.edu/cges/news/upcomingevents/climatechangeweeks/ccindex.html In Spring of 2010 the Brandeis International Center for Ethics, Justice, and Public Life hosted "THE GREEN CANVAS: THE ARTIST AS ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVIST" Hoseob Yoon of Kookmin University, Seoul, South Korea in a Distinguished Visiting Practitioner Residency. http://www.brandeis.edu/ethics/events/Yoon.html Students for Environmental Action (SEA) hosts many events each semester. Recent events have included: Screening "Real Food" and "A Sea Change" Screening and Discussion. http://www.seabrandeis.org/events.html The February of 2012 was themed as Brandeis Loves Recycling which included many events that taught recycling facts including Recyclegrams and competitions between different quads.
