A brief description of the themed housing, including name(s) and descriptions of theme(s):
In the Fall of 2011 First Year Students were offered the opportunity to live in a Sustainability Living Learning Community. This special hall will have residents engage in sustainability actions on and off campus. LLCs have existed around other themes at Brandeis and have proven to create a cohesive and supportive community.
A group of students are also working on creating a Brandeis sustainable co-op.
