A brief description of how the employee educators are selected (1st program):
Sustainability Reps is a voluntary program for staff to become advocates in their offices. They are encouraged to send out e-mail and hang posters in their offices. There are 30 people on the mailing list- and their offices probably contain 25 or so people.

Members get e-mail updates and invitations to events.The initial group in 2008 received a training in sustainability resources on campus. Additional workshops were offered in 2008-2009. Trainings have not been scheduled in the past year due to other priorities for the Sustainability Program.

A brief description of the staff and/or other financial support the institution provides to the program (1st program):
The support this year is low- besides sending updates to staff from the Sustainability Coordinator. We would like to relaunch expand the program to be very successful. Instead, we have been giving talks to various departments about sustainability- Development, Athletics, and Admissions have all participated. We also created a special group of "Green Labs" volunteers in the science departments.
