Brandeis compares pay with other higher education institutions in the Boston area and compares pay with industry in the area and northeast region. The data collected depends on the marketplace for that particular
position. Wages are established by position, in general we are paying above the minimum wage. Our lowest paid positions are more then double the minimum wage. A living or "sustainable wage" was determined to be $13.69 an hour for this area.
