Performance year is FY 2010 (Academic year 2009-2010). Complete data is only available going back to FY 2009. We used the same data weighted against campus users- however our population has grown. We can assume however that our recycling rate has gone up, but do not have the data to support that claim at this point. About a third of trash has been reduced though because, in 2008 Brandeis began to send all dining hall waste to be commercially composted. We have small composting programs for student dorms, we do not track the weight of those compostables.
