A brief description of the technology used:
Apogee from Siemens Building Technologies allows the Energy Manager to track energy consumption, schedule HVAC systems according to building and even classroom occupancy. We set back temperatures during unoccupied hours and at nighttime. It is not used for lighting control. The majority of campus buildings are on the Siemens system- the remaining 10% will be eventually updated.
