Bowling Green State University - Main Campus is the reporting institution. Totaling almost 900 acres and 101 buildings, BGSU offers more than 200 undergraduate majors and programs, as well as graduate and online programs.

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
The overall campus acreage we provided does not include any farmland or Steidtmann woods, or the outlying properties that are not managed by BGSU under the purview of this application, which reduces the main campus acreage significantly. Areas excluded include areas owned by BGSU that are not maintained by BGSU, areas that are not owned by BGSU, that may be maintained by BGSU, such as right-of-ways, and Firelands is not included in the institutional boundary for this report.
