A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

Every month, the Office of Human Resources hosts a new employee orientation that includes a segment about sustainability initiatives at Bowdoin as well as an overview of the Sustainable Bowdoin 2042 plan to become a fossil-fuel free campus. This orientation educates new employees about Bowdoin's zero-sort recycling program, the office supply reuse shop, the Green Office Certification program, public transportation options, and other relevant sustainability initiatives across campus. Additionally, employees have an opportunity to explore the Sustainable Bowdoin Tour interactive map highlighting different building features and sustainability projects across campus.
