Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-out waste?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

The Bowdoin Give and Go program benefits local charities while reducing waste during student move out. Donation boxes are placed in all residence halls where students can leave furniture, clothes, electronics and other items which are then organized and sold at a benefit sale later in the year. All food items are donated to local Hunger Prevention programs, and unsold items are donated to local charities.
