A brief description of the student group:
The Evergreens is a student run club devoted to local and international environmental issues. Global Green Initiatives or GGI is another student club that focuses on issues related to climate change and green development and jobs. The two groups will be joining together under an umbrella organization in the fall of 2011 called "Green Bowdoin" with a major focus on getting students involved in Bowdoin's carbon neutrality efforts.
