A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

Students: The Boston University Student Health Services (SHS) office's goal is to help you stay well throughout your time on campus by providing programs and services that promote your well-being. SHS helps students stay healthy with campus wellness events, peer health education programs, free and confidential counseling for alcohol and drugs, condoms and other safer sex supplies delivered to your mailbox, and resources on topics like stress, sleep, sexual health, alcohol, and other drugs.

Staff and Faculty: Boston University has a Faculty/Staff Assistance Office that provides confidential counseling and referral services such as consultation, problem assessment, short-term psychotherapy, and referral resource information. Human Resources also provides information online for health and wellness.
