A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
“The BUS,” BU’s campus shuttle, has nine (9) vehicles within its fleet for the campus shuttle service, however, this fleet is not owned by the University. The University utilizes its vendor, Academy Bus, to provide this shuttle service. The shuttles are fueled by Ultra Low Sulfur B5 Biodiesel; this will be excluded until we can determine if the biofuel is produced locally.
