A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
Human Resources offers professional development courses to all faculty and staff. One sustainability seminar titled “Greening Your Office” is offered every year. This seminar teaches employees how to save energy, reduce waste, recycle, and purchase greener office products while also teaching sustainable communications, activities, and workflows. The application of sustainable behavior at the staff level then acts as a model for sustainable behavior for students and the Boston University community as a whole.
