A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:

Boston University has two childcare centers on campus. The Boston University Children’s Center is a full-time early childhood education program. The Preschool is a part-time program affiliated with the School of Education.

The Office of Family Resources is committed to helping families in the Boston University community manage the challenges of work life and family life. They provide referral services and resource materials for parents seeking childcare, information about how to find BU students interested in babysitting, education programs co-sponsored with the Faculty/Staff Assistance Office, school vacation programs for children in Kindergarten through fourth grade during the February and April school vacation weeks, and a recreational summer camp program for children entering Kindergarten through fourth grade during summer school vacation weeks.
