A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Equal Opportunity Office provides formal training for managers and employees on sexual harassment, discrimination, and other EO topics. Training is offered on a regular basis through the Get Trained! Series of professional development workshops provided by Human Resources. One of the workshops offered in May 2011 was titled “Supplier Diversity and Economic Inclusion” which identified the importance and benefits of working with diversified suppliers.
