Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory
Yes
A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
Boston College acquired the services of Sightlines which uses a process called Return on Physical Assets to create a baseline for continuous measurement and improvement.
Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
Yes
A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
Sightlines LLC is contracted annual to validate and document our inventory.
Documentation to support the GHG inventory verification process:

Additional documentation to support the submission:
Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Scope 2 emissions dropped to zero compared to the 2018 submission because BC purchased RECs to offset its electrical consumption. BC did not repurchase the green power it had in 2018.
The EPA Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies calculator was used to convert electric RECs to Metric Tons of CO2 Equivalent.
