Each year BHSU presents a Community Service Award to a department for their service to the Spearfish community, the Black Hills region, and the state of South Dakota. The nominee should demonstrate significant contribution of time or talent and may also involve facilitating change, leadership, taking risks and involving others. All BHSU employees are eligible.
