A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
Data was collected through a survey conducted on campus and online. 72 students, 29 faculty, and 54 staff completed the survey. The survey was hosed on Survey Monkey, spread through campus newsletter and direct emails. To increase participation, a table was hosted for several days at the Student Union for campus members to fill out a hard copy. This provides a baseline participation amount that we hope to increase in subsequent survey years. We are working to acquire participation incentives for future surveys.
