Black Hills State University Counseling Center provides on-campus counseling to currently enrolled students. Services are provided by licensed professional counselors who assist students in a non-judgmental, objective, confidential setting with their day-to-day concerns, problems, thoughts and feelings. There is no charges for counseling services for students currently registered at Black Hills State University.
As part of the State Health Plan, employees and their dependents have access to the Employee Assistance Program, which provides confidential, professional support for personal and work concerns at no cost to the employee. It includes a wide variety of life areas, such as family, alcohol/drugs, anxiety, parenting, workplace, aging, depression, grief, relationships, abuse, and financial.
