A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives, including efforts made during the previous three years:
Buildings have been retrofitted with energy efficiency measures including building automation sensors and lighting. Energy efficient boilers were installed in 2012. The installation of a cardboard baler increased cardboard recycling capacity on campus in fall 2013. Plans to increase recycling collection to events and more places on campus and switch outdoor lighting with LEDs are underway.
