A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is one designed to assist employees and their family members in dealing with personal or family issues/crises from stress, relationship conflicts, grief, substance abuse, and other matters that present challenges to the employee or her/his family members. The EAP is a free service for all employees of the College and is fully funded by the College. Additionally, the College has an on-site physician-staffed family practice clinic for all employees and their family members (College Health Services) with a reduced co-pay for an office visit; Health Risk Assessments have been provided for all employees; a free membership to a full service fitness facility is provided to all employees and their family members; and there is an active Employee Wellness Committee providing leadership in wellness matters.
