The long term goals included in the climate plan are as follows:
1. Reduce the amount of energy being used by the college
2. Reduce our carbon foot print
3. Reduce energy cost (in constant dollars) over time
4. Provide data and methods to assist education for students, faculty, and staff, and the community at large, as they relate to Berea College


A brief summary of the climate plan’s short-term goals:

Short term goals include:
1. A 10% baseline reduction in total emission by 2015 as compared to 2008 baseline.

2. Current efforts are directed towards identifying the investments, action plans and initiatives that will carry on our progress towards more sustainable Berea College operations.
