A brief description of the institution's stormwater management initiatives:

The College is working with a stormwater management consultant in the design of its new residence facility to minimize or eliminate stormwater runoff. Stormwater reduction strategies at the Ecovillage and Draper Hall have been implemented, and continuing opportunities for items such as porous paving are identified in ongoing renovations and maintenance activities.

In the Draper Building, the roof design channels rainwater into a 12,000-gallon underground cistern behind the building, and the rainwater is used for landscape irrigation and toilet flushing, reducing potable water use by 1/3.
