A brief description of the pre-consumer food waste composting program:
All pre-consumer food scraps are collected in the dining hall kitchen, 95% of meals, and picked up by labor students along with the post consumer waste daily, to be composted at the college farm. Prep waste for retail Café and catering is also collected and composted.
