Sustainability-focused courses concentrate on the concept or practice of sustainability, including its social, economic, and environmental dimensions.
Sustainability-related courses incorporate sustainability as a distinct course component or module or concentrate on a single sustainability principle or issue, or examine an issue or topic using sustainability as a lens. As a guideline, the sustainability component or module or topic should comprise of approximately 20% of the overall course content.

A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the inventory:

At year-end, each faculty member submits a report to the Dean regarding the activities of the year. At that time, the Dean requested faculty specifically identify courses offered during the last academic year that met the above definitions of sustainability. Compliance with this aspect of reporting was voluntary.
