Social Justice Lounge for DEIJ Conversations and Events

The Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE) announced the launch of our new Social Justice Lounge, located in the BSLCE in Morison 101, in October 2022. The lounge is a special spot, outfitted with furniture and décor representing Business for the Greater Good- fair trade, upcycled, sustainable, and illustrating varying business models that take a holistic and synergistic People, Planet, Profit approach. It's a small space designed for intimate and thoughtful conversation on DEIJ issues. The inaugural Social Justice Lounge Series, a series of talks given in the space, wsas organized by Professor Mateo Cruz, the Social Justice Faculty Fellow. An example of the talks are below:
