A brief description of the formal sustainability course designation program:
Bentley is a majority business University and as such, the majority of students major in business. As part of Bentley’s integration of arts and sciences and business, students are offered an optional Liberal Studies Major to add to their business major. One of the concentrations in this Liberal Studies Major is "Earth, Environment, and Global Sustainability." With this concentration, there are certain courses that are designated across all disciplines, that the university has deemed the curriculum to be related. When signing up for courses, students can filter the course offerings for the semester to show the courses that are sustainability focused. This is a filter that is internal to Bentley students, in order to filter which courses are sustainability focused/inclusive that are being offered each semester. For those interested in seeing potential courses being offered at Bentley that are deemed by the university to be sustainability focused/inclusive please click on the document under Earth, Environment and Global Sustainability on this page:
