Inventory of the institution’s sustainability research:
---

A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
- Bentley’s registrar provided a complete list intellectual contributions from faculty members during FY22. The total number of faculty conducting research in FY22 was determined by counting the number of faculty who submitted research or were published within the reporting time frame.
- Bentley’s Student Sustainability Leadership team helped to classify this research as sustainability focused based on research titles. Their inventory was then reviewed by an external consultant and the relevant publications were pared down to a couple examples per researcher.
- Sustainability research was identified as such if the research's primary or explicit focus was on one or more of the sustainability challenges outlined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
