Faculty/Staff Eco-Rep Program

A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The Faculty and Staff Eco Rep program was created in June 2010. This program aims to engage faculty and staff in sustainability initiatives and to help train faculty and staff to communicate sustainable initiatives and behaviors to their departments. Faculty and staff Eco-Reps meet together as a group with Office of Sustainability staff at monthly meetings. At these meetings different sustainability topics are covered and participant provide their expertise to the Office of Sustainability.

A brief description of the employee educators program’s target audience (1st program):
As of 2020, 14 people are active in the Faculty EcoReps that are responsible for disseminating information within their own department. We aim to have one person from each department at Bentley. They receive emails, updates, and information to share with their departments. They attend a meeting once a month to discuss what is going on sustainability-wise on campus and they bring these topics back to share with their departments.
