A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :

Amanda King, the Director of Sustainability does a presentation once a semester on the carbon footprint of the university. Along with outlining Bentley's data she does a primer on climate change and sustainability. All staff and faculty are invited to this presentation.

Staff members are also an integral part of our Faculty and Staff Eco-Rep Program. The Faculty and Staff Eco Rep program, created in June 2010. This program aims to engage faculty and staff in sustainability initiatives and to help train faculty and staff to communicate sustainable behaviors to their departments. Faculty and staff Eco-Reps meet together as a group with the Assistant Director of Sustainability once a month during the academic year and once a month over the summer. At these meetings different sustainability topics are covered.
