The Earth, Environment, and Global Sustainability LSM coordinator, Rick Oches, reads through syllabi and course content before each course is considered to be of substantial sustainability content.
In addition, the Office of Sustainability sent out a survey to all faculty teaching courses in Fall 2016 & Spring 2017 and asked them to self report sustainability content or themed courses so the Office of Sustainability could track this data better.
In a few cases the Office of Sustainability emailed professors to confirm sustainability content.
