The inventory was conducted and verified by third-parties. The College has partnered with Aramark to provide supervision services for dining services. All dining staff preparing the food are Bennington College employees. We have had this arrangement for five years. Each year we have been more and more successful sourcing locally grown plant based, ethically sourced, and sustainable foods.

Steve Boeher, our chef on campus, is constantly and continuously seeking more locally sourced sustainable food sources. We get better each and every year. This reporting year is when COVID hit and keeping track of this scope was lost in the pandemic. We are just re-reporting last baseline year as this updated information is not available.
