Sustainable Printmaking
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Non-toxic Century Plate Lithography Part 1 introduces printmakers to a new, sustainable, and environmentally-friendly way to produce high-quality, professional, hand-pulled lithographs without using toxic or petroleum-based materials.
In connection with her work in sustainable printmaking, Rhodes taught a special Non-toxic Century Plate Lithography Intensive weekend course for artists from Denmark and Sweden in residence at EFA-Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop in New York City.
Rhodes also taught a six-week Non-toxic Century Plate Lithography course at Bennington College during Spring 2019.
