Each week every member of the Bennington College campus community gets an email called "The Bennington Bulletin." In it, as part of our Continuous Energy Improvement, throughout the term tidbits and reminders are included to remind staff, faculty, and students about sustainable practices on campus.

Yes. We have stickers at the entrance of each building that has 100% LED lighting. We have signage around every elevator to take the stairs, if the person is able.

Bennington College’s deep commitment to sustaining an environment-friendly community is displayed in every building located on and off-campus. This map demonstrates the Bennington College’s sustainability highlights: academic and administrative buildings, gardens and farms, and student housing. As you walk around the campus, you might notice a lot more sustainable aspects such as electric car charging stations, bicycle parking racks, recycling bins, and much more.

Yes

This is accomplished through many activities. Each Sunday night, students get together for "coffee hour" where they review current events, activates in the houses, and what is going on. This is where representatives from Buildings and Grounds have joined these meetings and discussed sustainable living in the houses.
