25.26

Documentation to support the performance year energy consumption figures reported above:
A brief description of the institution's initiatives to shift individual attitudes and practices in regard to energy efficiency:

We have all of our building analytics on a web-based platform that automatically calculate this information.

A brief description of energy use standards and controls employed by the institution:

We use both Siemens and Structureware for building management systems. All new construction is brought up to State of Vermont Energy codes.

A brief description of Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting and other energy-efficient lighting strategies employed by the institution:

All exterior pole lights on campus are LED retrofitted. We have five buildings that are all LED. Whenever we procure new light fixtures, we ensure that they are LED.

A brief description of passive solar heating, geothermal systems, and related strategies employed by the institution:

We have a geothermal heating and cooling system for our newest building, CAPA, which is also all LED.

A brief description of co-generation employed by the institution:

We have no co-generation on site.

A brief description of the institution's initiatives to replace energy-consuming appliances, equipment, and systems with high efficiency alternatives:

Whenever we purchase new equipment, we make sure it is all energy star or the like.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

There is no steam coming onto campus or chilled water. We should be getting credits for this, as we have added square footage, removed fossil Fuel burning equipment, so our electrical use has gone up, but emissions have gone down.
