We have renovated the original academic building on campus, Commons, renovated the an old chicken coop and made it into our health center, added an addition onto our student center, and built the Center for the Advancement in Higher Education. All of these buildings are either on low pressure steam from our biomass plant, are on heat pump systems, or geothermal. All these buildings are LED and exceed the Vermont Energy Code. We do not so through any process like LED, as we are a small liberal arts college with no endowment and do not have the funds to do that.
