Annual Earth Day events are open to all staff. We also have Arbor Day and Tree Campus USA celebrations each year. In addition, employees are invited to participate in our Conservation and Sustainability committee meetings. Campus has also been a site for the Conscious College Tour the last few years, and faculty and staff are welcome to attend the Tour’s events.
A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):
We are a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and the last several years have submitted a poster for NACUBO’s Campus Efficiency Meeting where other campuses also display what they are doing in regards to sustainability. Belmont commits to sending a Senior Leader to this professional development forum each year.
