A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
Bellevue College's weather-informed irrigation system operates on a zone basis. The water sensor system can be programmed remotely via a computer or adjusted manually on zone site. For example, except for the soccer fields and interior lawns, the system is programmed to let the grass go dormant in the summer.
