A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The Faculty Commons is a new department at Bellevue College that provides support for faculty-guided innovation, adaptation of curriculum and pedagogy, and other forms of faculty professional development that contribute to student success and to the educational mission and goals of the College. The Faculty Commons seeks to co-create a pedagogy at Bellevue College that supports the development of a sustainable future. This pedagogy is based upon the five pillars of sustainability, inclusiveness, interdisciplines, lifelong learning, and technology, which together can create a sustainable future.
