A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :
BC Ride Match is an innovative alternative transportation program that melds campus and community ride share programs. The online system allows students, faculty, staff, and BC community members to find ride matches and connect via email or meet on campus to form a carpool. It also calculates the true cost of a user's commute, encouraging reductions in spending on gasoline and reductions in carbon emissions from driving.
