A brief description of just some of the achievements the Assistant Director of Sustainability and Special Projects and the University Sustainability Committee have collaborated on in the past three years: Baylor Move-In Day recycling operations have led to a record breaking 16.3 tons recycled in 48 hours; doubled the diversion rate hitting 30% of recycled materials during Move In Worked with campus partners to decrease overall campus energy expenditures by 6.6% Moved to a 100% Styrofoam free campus Campus recycling has increased to over 447 tons Created and integrated the Sustainability Student Advisory Board Installed reusable water bottle drinking stations throughout campus Expanded recycling efforts outdoors with first outdoor recycling units
