The Sustainability Coordinator is an active member of the Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability which is a state-wide grouping of sustainability professionals that work towards a more sustainable future in higher education, local government, and nationwide. The Sustainability Coordinator also represents the university on the Texas Product Stewardship Council whose purpose is to encourage commercial entities to better manage the life system for their products with state government setting the standards and ensuring the accountability of all commercial producers.
