Does the institution have a sustainability plan that meets the criteria for this credit?:
Yes

A brief description of how multiple stakeholder groups were involved in developing the plan:

In accordance with the official University Sustainability Policy: The Sustainability Coordinator shall consult with the University Sustainability Committee to develop indicators and measures of success in the implementation of the principles outlined in this policy in consultation with appropriate faculty, staff, students, and experts in the broader community.

As such, each stakeholder is required to review their area and to submit a measurable, achievable sustainability goal for their department. These goals are meant to encourage progress and work towards a more sustainable Baylor, thus there is no penalty for goals not met.

A brief description of the plan’s measurable goals :

Each campus division is asked to submit measurable, achievable goals for their area.

For example: Housekeeping submits a goal to increase their green cleaning products by a certain percentage every year. Athletics submits to eliminate Styrofoam products in all venues and has met measurable success in this area in the last two years, as a result of their stakeholder sustainability goals.

A brief description of how progress in meeting the plan’s goals is measured:

Stakeholder goals are reviewed throughout the year with quarterly updates given at University Sustainability Committee meetings. In addition, the Sustainability Coordinator meets with stakeholder groups on an individual basis every month to review goals and discuss other initiatives.
