A brief description of the plan of action to achieve water use reduction goals:

Water savings is part of our Energy Awareness program on campus. New technology for treating cooling tower water is being tested at the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative. This technology saves water and reduces chemical treatment requirements. In addition, the University is installing a water saving evapo-transpiration (ET) based central irrigation system. Baylor has implemented trayless dining in all four of its dining halls which significantly reduces water use in dining operations.
