Bates Students Create Peer to Peer Student Sustainability Hub
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The goal of the Sustainability Hub is to connect the sustainability communities across campuses and organizations. It is a repertoire of tools that helped the Bates College Office of Sustainability get off of the ground and hopes to provide a place for idea generation, project planning, or project realization. Beyond just the tools, the Sustainability Hub aims to be a place of coming together for sustainability advocates and create community across communities.
The Sustainability Hub has a number of pages including information on carbon neutrality, campus gardens, bike-share programs, and more! These pages have not only project ideas but the steps and tools to begin and complete these projects.
