The Office of Sustainability & Climate Action maintains an Instagram and Facebook page, where we promote events on campus and in NYC, as well as share news and resources surrounding sustainability. https://www.facebook.com/BarnardSustainability/

We also send out community wide emails twice a year, which provides updates on sustainable initiatives and information on events. Sustainability programming is also included in other departmental newsletters and social media pages.

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Across campus, we have consistent signage that informs students how to sort their waste properly. Each sign, Landfill, Single-stream Recycling, Compost, and Special, uses images of the items that can be disposed of in each bins. Each sign directs the community to reach out to the office of sustainability if they have any questions.

The office of Campus Sustainability and Climate Action has produced an online map of the campus that documents building LEED ratings, centers for reuse, green spaces, composting & recycling stations, bike racks, water bottle filling stations.

A brief description of the guide for green living and/or incorporating sustainability into the residential experience:
We provide first-year students with a Sustainability Guide, with information on courses and student groups relating to sustainability, as well as recommendations for living sustainably in the dorms (sorting waste properly, buying used, limiting water consumption).
